Hotel Walliserhof Zermatt

plentiful breakfast with delicious eggs, and the staff was consistently courteous. the location was amazing, metres from a unique museum. and metres from restaurants and pubs, it was a bonus.

Hotel is beautiful. It's also v near train station. Hotel offers free station-hotel transfer. Rm was huge. We were given a run-of-the-house rm which ended up being a 4-bedded rm w an attic. There was quite a pleasant view of e Matterhorn too. Enjoyed e fitness facilities too. The staff were very friendly. Buffet Breakfast spread v good. Would stay there should we ever visit zermatt again.

The smell of the kitchen was strong in the entrance and the reception level. The photos of the room in the website are not at all representative of the real situation!!!

We had a room with a window facing the main street of Zermatt. Noise from people in the street kept us awake until 05.30 A.M. on the first night so we asked to move to the back of the hotel.

It was an absolutely fabulous hotel in a very interesting area, really close to all the shops and restaurants, Zermatt for 3 nights and everything-shops, train station, restaurants, tourist information. The staff were all consistently courteous and very pleasant. The room was neat, enjoyed it. Everything was perfect, I would recomand.

Walliserhof Q was perfect. Location in the valley is great, staff was terrific and our room was fantastic. Couldn't ask for anything more. Very happy with this hotel.

Stone's throw from the train station and right in the heart of the town. Our room was charming, with great views of the Matterhorn. The breakfast room felt a bit cramped during peak hours.

Breakfast was very good (especially their bacon)! Location (train station was very accessible). Staff was very efficient.

The charming porter assured us that the hotel restaurant was fantastic -- as advertised by his waistline. And it was -- though not inexpensive -- 31 chf for fabulous citrus risotto, and 21 chf for a (very large) cheese and pumpkin ravioli -- both interesting and delicious.

We would recommend this property, truly enjoyed its location. Very pleasant and incredible staff, they know their business. Terrific service and the food is brilliant. The fact that it has a very quick check in, that worked great for us. The great restaurant at the ground floor is a nice plus.
